Why does life seem so boring? It seems that the closer I get to fulfilling my goals of improving the way society functions, the less exciting everything seems. See, now I can visualize myself doing exactly what I've been wanting to do, playing exactly the role in the world I've been wanting to play. But then ok, the world isn't irrational and hypocritical anymore, but it's still the same absurd world. What's the point of it all? Why do anything? Yeah, I know, some things are fun. I've been through my horrid existential crisis, I know I just need to embrace my arbitrary sense gratifications. It's not a question of what I ought to like, it's a question of attaining the stimulation I happen to like. But of course this isn't very inspiring. Thus far it seems to me to be the reality however. So it seems that I'm at the stage where I need to focus my energy on learning how to have fun. Some people seems to be having a blast all the time. They "love life." How do I get there? Is it largely a genetic manner? Or do I need to get back in touch with all of my deep passions like singing and music making? Well I don't have control over my genes, but I have control over my relationship to music. But I've already told myself this before. I need to actually make a big change now.
I want to live the good life, that's all. I want to meet other people who are pursuing the same goal. We should set up a network for the purpose of assisting each other in this pursuit. What do y'all think I should call this?
